Brunel Volunteers is part of the Brunel Professional Development Centre and works with charities, community groups, and organisations to facilitate volunteering opportunities for students and staff to engage within the local and wider community. The organisation helps students, through its projects, to build relevant skills for future employment and explore different career paths before entering the graduate recruitment market.
Details of the Volunteering Opportunity:
In this role, you will contribute to Brunel Volunteers’ social media presence, helping to grow our presence on a variety of platforms. As a Social Media Volunteer, you will develop your communication and marketing skills, reaching out to a variety of people on a day-to-day basis.
Typical duties include:
- Planning and posting engaging and relevant material to promote volunteering opportunities, events and student achievements
- Responding to comments and messages to build and engaging platform that strengthens our relationships with volunteers and organisations
- Tracking engagement metrics and suggesting improvements based on the performance of different posts
- Working closely with the Brunel Volunteers Coordinator and other student volunteers to align content with the BV vision
Please note, the organisation requires that you to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
